Come Join Me Friday! — Minneapolis/St Paul Family Photographer

Believe it or not we are in for a heatwave Friday, at least by Minnesota standards that is.  It’s the perfect opportunity for me to get out and practice shooting (this long and cold winter is driving me stir crazy) and I wanted to invite anyone that is free and interested to join me.  I have a few concepts in mind and would love some willing subjects to photograph!  If you feel like playing in the snow, leave me a comment here on the blog and I will send you all of the details.  I plan on shooting from 1230-4pm, and this “event” is free of charge.  As a thank-you, those participating will receive a special gift.

Lisa - That would be so much fun – unfortunately Audrey is in school until 3:45. :-( If you want pictures of me instead of my adorable girl I could probably show up for a little while. I have a meeting at 11am so I will actually already be all dolled up :-)

Fun in the Snow — Minneapolis/St Paul Family Photographer

January through March can be a very slow time for a photographer in the upper midwest where temps hover around zero, EXCEPT if you have families that are looking for a fun session that is a bit different.  I was so lucky to find such a family this past holiday season, and I have some absolutely adorable photos to prove it!  This little preview is only the tip of the iceberg, there are SO MANY from this season that just make me smile.  So don’t let the snow and cold stop you, schedule a session this winter!  Just ask the “D” Family–you will be so glad you did!

Happy Birthday Patrick! — Minneapolis/St Paul Children’s Photographer

One of the best things about being a children’s photographer is watching your client’s children grow.  Little Patrick here was my very first subject when I started this amazing adventure, and now he is celebrating his first birthday!  Patrick and I had a lot of fun in his room yesterday playing with toys, reading, and hanging out.  Great way to spend an afternoon…and now that I think about it perhaps THAT is my favorite thing about all of this.  I get a chance to be a kid again too!  Thanks for being such a great subject little man, you are going to be a heartbreaker for sure!
