Mother’ Day Mini-Sessions — Minneapolis/St Paul Child Photographer

Are you stumped with what to give your mom for Mother’s Day?
Are you a mom not sure of what to even ask for yourself?
Have you always longed for a generational photo with grandma, you, and your daughter?
Are you a significant other of a mom, and looking for the perfect gift?
Is there a special relationship in your life that means as much to you as the bond between mother and child that want to capture?
Is this your FIRST Mother’s Day that you are excited to document?

I can answer all of these questions with one simple answer–schedule a session at my first annual Mother’s Day Mini-Session event!

Sessions are 20-minutes in length, and will be held April 16&17 at my studio in Saint Paul between 9-230pm.  Cost is $50 and includes the session fee and two 5x7s of your favorite image.  For all of the details, please visit my website.  Online Scheduling is available, and with a retail value of $175–these spots are already filling up fast.  If weather permits we will be outside–but indoor studio shots are available as well. Special packages will be available for this event–and don’t worry dads–there will be a Father’s Day Mini-Session event in June too!

Magazine Model Call — Minneapolis/St Paul Child Photographer

I am SO excited to announce collaboration with Jill at Ingredient Magazine for her July/Aug issue!  Ingredient is a fabulous children’s food magazine for kids who are curious about food.  Holly and I read our latest issue together every night for nearly a week, each issue is packed with recipes, facts, and activities.  Head on over to her website and check it out!

We are looking for kids 6-10 years old to participate; no prior modeling experience is necessary. Children will be asked to demonstrate specific age-appropriate cooking tasks for the camera (for example, slicing a tomato or tossing a salad) or tasting foods (specifically ice cream/gelato, iced tea, watermelon).

The photo shoot will take place on April 9th, 2011 from 10-1pm.  Please leave a comment, or email me if interested and I will send you more information.

Landon — Minneapolis/St Paul Newborn Photographer

This morning sweet little Landon came to my studio for my first studio newborn session.  He LOVED the 88 degree room!  (Mom, Dad, and I where thankful there was a refrigerator FULL of bottled water:))  It was great to be able to implement some of the techniques I learned this past weekend at the newborn workshop, and I look forward to working with many more newborns in the future.  Big thanks to mom and dad for all of their help during this session–who knew that a little person could wear all three of us out in under three hours?!  Enjoy the sneak peek….more darling images to follow soon…

Elsa — Minneapolis/St Paul Child Photographer

I just spent a wonderful couple of hours with Miss Elsa and here is one of my favorite images from our time together so far.  (I have only made it through ten photos if that gives you any idea on how cute they all are!)  It was my first in-studio session, and I must say I LOVED it.  The lighting is perfect, the space more than enough room for little ones to cruise about.  I am seriously on cloud nine.

Elsa’s mom (my new sewing tutor although she doesn’t know it yet!) brought along the most perfect outfits and accessories….when I look at this photo I am literally speechless.  I don’t know if I could have described more precisely the images I want to be able to create for families…but those colors, that wide-eyed look….this is exactly it.

Thank you guys for great session.  I hope to see much more of you in the future!

Newborn Models Open Call — Minneapolis/St Paul Newborn Photographer

I am looking for expectant mothers with an estimated due date between March7th and mid-April for a special project I am working on in studio.  Newborn models pay no session fee and receive special pricing consideration on your order.  If this applies to you, or someone you know, please pass this information along and/or contact me as soon as possible.

I still have a few spots remaining for my baby model open call, thanks to all of you so far that have volunteered your time or sent this information to friends:)
