Day twelve is all about puzzles. I referenced Holly and my love of completing puzzles in my Project Life this week and decided that it would also make a great addition to my December Daily album. I tried to use different photos in each album–but told the same story. It’s all good! I am so glad that Holly and I have found something to do together that will be something we can always do together no matter our ages. I have already bought next year’s holiday puzzle for us to tackle! I am starting to realize that in a few years I am going to have collected enough December traditions to fill up the entire month:)

Day Thirteen is all about football! I have never referenced our love of the game before, even though it’s a large part of our holiday season. I am just like my grandmother, one of the biggest football fans I have ever seen in my life. She wouldn’t even talk to you on the phone during a game!

I still can’t believe Marie’s first word was touchdown. Guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!

It started out as a photo that I caught by accident back in 2009.

The following year I had Holly sit in the chair again so I could show how much she had grown.

In 2011 I had a newborn during December, and while I thought about putting them both in the chair, I was too tired to do it.

Today I had them sit together in the same chair, reading the same Millie books from 2009.

Makes my heart just melt. Here is Day 11, 2012:

My last post, all about day 7, was actually day 8. So…I have a huge post today with the real day 7…all the way to day 10. I have three more to do to get completely caught up–thank goodness the weekend is upon us! Here is a look at the “real” day 7. To keep my pages right in my photobook I had to go with a two page spread. This is all about our new Christmas Book tradition.

Day 10 shows you what we came back to–13.5 inches of snow!

Now off to work on Project Life once the kids nap. I haven’t even started week 50 yet! December…you are a whirlwind.

Playing a bit of catch-up from the weekend; That is what I trip to Vegas will get you! This tends to happen at this time every December since it’s my husband’s birthday on the 9th.

I decided to only bring my iphone to Vegas with us because 1) I am addicted to Instagram and 2) I knew they would be easy and fun to scrap because I have awesome templates from Nettio Designs. I was right! This took all of about 15 minutes to complete!

This is a bit late, but I have a good excuse! This weekend is my husband’s 40th birthday and we are off to Vegas in about an hour. (Sure would have been nice NOT to have insomnia tonight huh?) But that’s a whole other topic for another day. I just know today will be rough–not only do we have a time change ahead of us, but I am not the best flyer so I take a sedative. NICE. On about two hours sleep they are probably going to have to carry me off of the plane!

Anyhow, onto day six!

I like to have a page about Holly in my December Daily book that reflects who she is right now, so this week we went outside for a photoshoot. I wanted to capture her cute braids, so “Ingalls” aren’t they? This layout also features the silhouette I completed of her for our tree ornaments this year. This is all I can manage this AM, I am going to try to sleep for 20 minutes or so before I have to get up and get ready to go. No blogging this weekend, we are not even taking our computers. (For those that know me, this is NOT how I roll!) I will have an iphone and my ipad though…I mean there’s no sense living completely like an animal is there!?
