Welcome to Week Thirty! I let a whole week slide by without posting anything, as I wanted to get a week behind, so to speak, so that I had more time to work on the spreads. (Prior to this my week ended on Sunday and I was scurrying around trying to create and finish a layout by Tuesday morning.) I think this will make my spreads much more prettier in the long run as I will have time to curate my images a little more and put some more effort into my pages.
What we were up to this week: Visits to parks, a date night, starting summer camp, and the resurgence of an old tradition.
Techniques used this week: Just photos and brushes. Is there any better combo?
DSLR Photos Vs Iphone Photos: 5:5 Even steven again this week.
Favorite Photo of the Week: I really like a lot of the photos this week, but I have to say that my favorite is the black and white of the girls on the left side. I wanted them to pose together as Marie headed of to her first full day of camp, but instead of looking at me Marie looked up at her sister. She’s always looking up to her big sister….A close second is the adorable photo of Marie brushing her teeth by herself. That girl is obsessed with the toothbrush!
Other thoughts: I love this project. Seriously, it never gets old.
Supplies used this week: Most of the supplies are in the icons below. The “Loving Life” brush is one from Ali that I can’t seem to source, and the number 30 is part of Ali’s circle day number set. Both of these products are from pre-2010, so if they are still available you would need to search pretty far back at designerdigitals.com.
