I cannot believe we are one week away from the middle of the year. 2013 why are you moving so fast?!
What we were up to this week: Pioneering, running through sprinklers, going to the park, begging Marie to eat….the same old same old! We also beat the heat (and lack of electricity thanks to two crazy storms) by visiting the Mall of America and spending time with friends.
Techniques used this week: I am a brush loving fool. Speaking of brushes, I have finally figured out a digital organization system I hope to share in the next few weeks. It’s a crazy process to get it all sorted out–but in the end I am going to be so thankful I did it. I have already discovered things I didn’t even remember I had!
The only thing I did differently this week is modify Design A. I simply hid one of the journal card layers, and free transformed the size of another to get a spot big enough for a 4×6 photo. I had so many photos this week I wanted to be able to showcase as many as I could as I am already envisioning there will be at least two inserts!
DSLR Photos Vs Iphone Photos: 1:8. My trusty iphone was really getting a workout this week. I love that phone!
Favorite Photo of the Week: My pioneer girl by the wagon. She loves the “olden days” as she calls them, I just love seeing her in her element outside. I can hardly wait until she is old enough to do the Laura camps at Ft Snelling…I hear they are AWESOME. We made the pilgrimage to Pepin, WI yesterday (where Laura Ingalls was born) and visited the museum and homestead…just wait until you see next week’s photos!
Other thoughts: Nothing other than I loving the photos and memories of this past week!
Supplies used this week: Most of the items used are in the icons below.
