Digital Project Life 2014 : Week Twenty-Four

Welcome to Week Twenty-Four! I am still jumping all over the place as I play catch-up from the summer. Hard to believe summer is pretty much over and here I am posting a spread from the first week of summer break!

If you have stopped by my blog before, welcome back! If you are new you can learn more about how to get started with digital project life by checking out some of my past posts. My most popular digital memory-keeping posts have been Project Life Tips (written after my first six months of scrapbooking) and Digital Project Life Tips which is filled with links to some great tutorials online that are free AND will have you up and going in no time digitally. All of my digital project life pages are here on my blog, or for an even easier way to view them follow me on Pinterest. One thing you will notice that is different about my layouts is that I use a double-mat background for all of my pages. If you are interested in learning how to resize your Becky Higgins templates to create this look, and would like a free download of my template, check out this post.

What we were up to this week: Can we say hello summer?! I remember well how excited we were to have warmer weather and a more free schedule. This particular week was all about planning for a fun summer.

New techniques/ideas used this week: Nothing new and fancy this week. I have been doing this long enough now that it is actually hard to come up with new stuff to do when the old stuff works so well!

DSLR Photos Vs Iphone Photos: 4:8

Favorite Photo of the Week: Looking at this spread it’s hard to say. There isn’t anything that particularly sticks out, but if I had to choose one I would probably say the Father’s Day Breakfast shot at Panera. They are sitting at “our table,” (Panera is one of the only places Ree will eat) and it’s a very accurate depiction of what life looks like for us right now.

Other thoughts:  I will say it again, it doesn’t have to be complicated to be cute.

Supplies used this week: Project Life Daydreamer Mini Kit.
