Digital Project Life 2015 : Week Four

Happy Monday! I am here  with an on time post of my 2015 album. Maybe, just maybe, I will be able to squeeze in some time this week to work on 2014. Dare to dream right?!

To keep everything lined up, I had to complete another one page spread. I have a few photos left over so they will either go in next week’s layout or I will do an insert. Haven’t decided what to do at this point!

What we were up to this week: This week was, again, a nice capture of normal life. This will no doubt be my favorite weeks to look at years down the road.

New techniques/ideas used this week: Nothing new, but I do feel like I am getting into my “simple” groove. This is my favorite week yet this year. (Again I tried to use a Project Life kit and couldn’t. Too bright or too busy….what IS going on with me?!)

DSLR Photos Vs Iphone Photos: All iphone. Notice a theme this year? Iphone. One page spreads. Lots of white space. Simplicity. Loving it.

Favorite Photo of the Week: I think it’s the one with the shadow puppets in the “week of” card. Totally my favorite card by the way. (You can find it here.)

Other thoughts:  I really need to whip up a title page:)

Supplies used this week: One Little Bird’s Silver Linings papers and journaling cards and 4×6 templates from Paislee Press. All the brushes are Ali’s.

  • Kelly Mobley - Heather – I love your work and followed along with your blog for some time. What template design are you using for 2015. I would love to have the dimensions! Thanks in advance. P.S. your wedding photography is GORGEOUS!!!ReplyCancel

    • Heather - Hi Kelly! I used Cathy Z’s templates as a base, but enlarged the photo parts a bit because there was a little too much white space for me on the sides. Hope that helps! And thanks for the feedback on the wedding photos….I am in LOVE with wedding photography and look forward to doing more work like that in the future!ReplyCancel

    • Heather - Hi Kelly, I just reread this and realized you asked for dimensions–so sorry it took me so long to get back to you! The outer mat is 12×12 and the inner mat is about 11.25×11.25.ReplyCancel

  • mitchmac - So missing your inspirational PL pages – please post again soon!ReplyCancel

  • mitchmac - Hi Heather,

Was wondering if you’re still doing PL? I am really missing your gorgeous pages!

    • Heather - I am–it just takes a very, very back seat to everything. I really want to make time for it though!ReplyCancel
