Another week down at the The Johnson house! This week I used a new Paislee Press kit from my dailydigi subscription–love, love, love this kit. It’s not available in her shop yet, but Liz did blog about it here. Everything worked so beautiful together, and I really love how this week turned out.
This week we spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying the now beautiful summer weather. On Sunday we went to a local nature center to explore and on Monday the local free zoo. We spent a lot of time at our neighborhood park where we learned that Marie can now officially swing! (I used to be able to set her in the swings, but she truthfully was a bit too “tippy” to be in there!) One memory I am glad I got down was Classic Country Saturday Morning. My husband is what I sometimes call a 60 year old man in a 40 year old’s body…he loves him some Johnny Cash and Glenn Campbell on Saturday mornings. He loves to pick up the girls and dance with them! Just one more reason I love Project Life….it gives you the chance to record little moments like that which could easily get lost in the shuffle.
This page is pretty much all about the summer block party our street has every year. This year it was on a Saturday, which was wonderful even if it meant a late night! I was out at the bonfire until 12am! (This proved to be a not so great idea when the baby decided she needed to eat at 4.) Up until this morning I was DRAGGING! Too old to keep those sort of hours anymore!
I have a nice big photo of Marie crawling, it was one of my favorites of the bunch. I have a whole bunch of cute ones–definitely enough for an insert! I would love to say that I have all of those caught up, but I don’t. Boy do I need a crafty weekend away!!
I am linking up at The Mom Creative again this week. Check it out for tons of Project Life inspiration!
