Memory Keeping Monday : Digital Project Life 2015: Weeks 5-14

It feels SO GOOD to be back in the groove again. Here is a round up of pages I have completed so far this year, but didn’t post. You’ll see that these pages span my struggle with minimalism/square corners period. I just wasn’t in the scrapbooking groove and I think that was one of the reasons I had a heck of a time staying on top of layouts this year. Lots of single page spreads as well–I wasn’t even motivated to take photos!

Week 5 and 6. This was a non-project life kit by Peppermint Creative I believe. For some reason at this point in time I was very anti-color and only wanted muted tones. Looking back on it now I don’t know what was up with me–winter depression?!:

Week 7. Finally a double page spread! Holly was in a school play so there was much more to photograph than usual. Still using that same kit!

Week 8 and 9. Out of nowhere I am into color again! I don’t know what this kit is, but I am pretty sure it’s a Project Life one:

Week 10. This is one of my favorites, I love the navy and coral together. I think this is a kit from One Little Bird:

Week 11. There is a part two of this week that is in progress, will try to remember to update it as I get it done. I might swap the paper out–I don’t know what this kit is, but I do know that I do not like it:

Week 12. Another half done week and here I go all muted again!

Week 13 and 14. Here is where I get really confused. I definitely couldn’t find my creative voice so I went to white. I actually can’t tell if I like this or not, but I am leaving it as is:

And there you have it. Everything I have done so far this year. I am steadily back tracking and completing what I have missed in 2015–not to mention 2014. Even though doing this can, at times, take more time than I actually can give it I really, really miss it when I don’t record our life. Just looking at all of these pages together now makes me more inspired than ever to get back at it!

  • mitchmac - So missing your inspirational PL posts – please post again soon!ReplyCancel

  • Lindsey - Hello! I love your digital pages! I was curious if you are printing them in a book or just printing each spread and putting them into an album?

    • Heather - Thank you Lindsey! I print them each individually at Persnickety Prints and then put them in a binder. In 2013 I did a Shutterfly book, which worked out fine, I just found that with young kids I liked the option to be more hybrid and put in inserts with their school papers, cards, that sort of thing.ReplyCancel

  • mitchmac - Just wondering if you’re still doing PL as we haven’t seen a post in so long?ReplyCancel
